What is Cat’s Claw?

In the Netherlands, besides the name Cat’s Claw, which actually originates from English, we also use the names cat's claw, cat's claw and cat's claw. It is a liana-like plant, native to the Amazon rainforest. It grows mainly in the eastern Peruvian Andes and in Chile, but is now also found in other tropical regions of Central and South America.

Cat’s Claw contains more than 60 different active substances. The main group of active substances is called pentacyclic oxindole alkaloids (also abbreviated as POAs) (source). Research shows that the chemicals in this group are important for the normal functioning of our immune system.

Major advantages of Vimergy Cat’s Claw
