Frank d'Amelio started looking for new methods to extract herbs in the late 1960s. He was of the opinion that the herbal extracts were not of the quality they could be. As a herbalist and chemical analyst, he then spent many years researching plants, production processes and scientific articles. Through new knowledge, new data and scientific research, Frank was able to see that the "old" standardized production processes show multiple flaws, which result in imperfect tinctures.
