High quality cultivated and wild-picked herbs in Mycozil
Mycozil contains the following high-quality herbal extracts:
- Jatoba (botanical; Hymenaea courbari) is a tree that grows in Central and South America. In Caataga, a dry steppe-like area between the Amazon rainforest and the Atlantic rainforest in Brazil, the native inhabitants use the bark in local traditional herbal products (source).
- Pau d'arco(botanical: Tabebuia ssp.) is also known as lapacho. As with jatoba, these are trees, the bark of which is used in herbal products. The Mapuche, an indigenous people of central and southern Chile and southern Argentina, traditionally use pau d'arco (source). Pau d'arco is also called taheebo here.
- Liquorice is the name for a group of plants from Asia and Africa. The name is also used for the sweet rootstock of one specific plant from this group, the Glycyrrhiza glabra. The juice of this rootstock is an important component in liquorice.
- Anise (botanical: Pimpinella anisum) is a well-known culinary herb. The seeds are used to flavour both sweet and savoury dishes. The seeds are also used in this supplement. Traditional Chinese medicine (often abbreviated to TCM) has used anise seeds since the fifth century (source).
Digestive enzymes in Mycozil
Mycozil contains the digestive enzymes beta-glucanase and hemicellulase. Beta-glucanase is an enzyme that plays a role in breaking down glucans. Glucans are polysaccharides; carbohydrates made up of ten or more glucose units. Glucans occur naturally in the cell walls of grains, bacteria and fungi. Hemicellulase helps as a digestive enzyme in breaking down hemicellulose. Hemicellolose is a collective name for a group of very closely related carbohydrates that are only made in plants. In contrast to glucans, hemicellose contains not only glucose, but also xylose, mannose, galactose, rhamnose and arabinose.
Fulvic acid in Mycozil
Fulvic acid is one of the smallest molecules in mother nature. Due to this small molecular structure, fulvic acid is able to penetrate the cell walls well. Furthermore, pure fulvic acid is unbound. It has not yet bound any substances to itself, but it can. Fulvic acid is thus able to absorb nutrients and efficiently bring them into the cells and release them again. It can also absorb nutrients in the cells.
Bacterial strain Brevibacillus laterosporus in Mycozil
Many specialists consider the unique probiotic strain Brevibacillus laterosporus (BOD strain) as the Rolls Royce of probiotics. The bacteria occurs naturally in our intestines. The commercial introduction of Brevibacillus laterosporus was in 1989. The bacterial strain has enjoyed steadily growing popularity ever since.
