Cordyceps Capsules

The Cordyceps militaris mushroom is known in Tibetan and Chinese medicine, which attribute numerous properties to the mushroom. Cordyceps is widely used in top sport for its alleged effects. The Dutch name of Cordyceps militaris is the caterpillar killer and that name should be taken literally. It parasitises on the caterpillars of various butterflies that do not survive this intrusion. The Cordyceps militaris fruit bodies in the capsules have been specially bred and developed to complement and are freely absorbable by the body. The extract in the capsules of Foodsporen is made from the fruiting bodies of the Cordyceps mushroom, they expressly do not use the mycelium which is grown on grain.

The container (the jar) in which the capsules are contained is made of high-quality MIRON® Violetglass and is completely reusable. MIRON glass protects the product against harmful UV radiation, so that the nutrients in the capsule remain optimally protected and the shelf life is considerably improved.
