Dulse is a perennial seaweed. The seaweed is found on the Atlantic coasts of Europe, the Arctic coastlines of Russia and Canada, the coast of Atlantic Canada, the coast of Alaska, the coast of Japan and the coastline of Korea. It likes to grow in cold water attached to rocks. However, it can also attach well to other seaweed species (mainly of the genus Laminaria Dulse is a relatively small seaweed.
