At Morgen is Nu we believe that the sun is our best friend. The sun can be extremely healthy and has many benefits for our body. Despite all this, we also believe that sometimes you need protection from the sun, either because of too high temperatures, too long time in the sun or just to let your sun slowly get used to the start of summer. However, choose a healthy alternative made from pure botanical ingredients that nourish our skin, instead of the chemical and toxic substances found in regular sunscreens.

Why is 'normal' sun sunscreen only for our skin?

Many people have been led to believe that sunscreen prevents cancer. This is partly true, too much sun can cause your skin to burn. This causes damage to the DNA of your skin cells. Often, your body easily repairs this by creating new skin cells, but in some cases this is unfortunately not the case and this can have serious consequences for your skin and body. So never sit in the sun with your bare skin unprotected for too long in the middle of the day.

However, many people are not aware that it is often the chemicals in sunscreen that cause cancer, but also many other damages to the body. The chemical UV-protective substances in sun creams are absorbed by the body through the skin (especially when the sun shines on it). This causes a large amount of free radicals in your body, which increase the risk of malignant cancer. It is therefore important to use sunscreen that is made from natural ingredients that support the skin when it comes into contact with the sun.
