Frank d'Amelio started looking for new methods of extracting herbs in the late 1960s. He believed that herbal extracts were not of the quality they could be. As a herbalist and chemical analyst, he then spent many years researching plants, production processes and scientific articles. Through new knowledge, new data and scientific research, Frank was able to see that the "old" standardised production processes had multiple flaws, resulting in imperfect tinctures.
